This would involve you working with us as a volunteer to develop a good working knowledge of one or more of these fields:
Our area of operation, existing and potential client groups and their needs and contact details, volunteers, their skills, training profile, availability including holiday commitments and contact details.so that you could schedule our bookings
Legislation related to vehicle and driver licensing, vehicle and liability insurance and fleet management plus compliance with Section 19 and Section 22 Permit conditions, fleet support services and relevant contact details so that you could help manage our small fleet of vehicles (currently three)
Our contribution payments framework for people's use of our community transport services and our Committee of Management's terms of governance so that you could do some bookkeeping and do reports.
In practice this could involve:
Working from your home with electronic connection to our scheduling database and offering client telephone access particularly while the Group has no separate office facility, but all your "out-of- pocket" expenses will be paid by Carebus.
Undertaking specific tasks and especially covering sickness and holiday absence on the part of our Coordinator including job scheduling, plus attending internal and external meetings on behalf of our Coordinator. If you have a D1 licence you could also drive minibuses when necessary!
